Otter Valley Rod and Gun Club

There will be no trap practice at Otter Valley on Wednesday July 2 and Sunday July 6 .

We will be shooting trap practice on Saturday at noon , there will not be practice Sunday the 22nd

The Rifle range and Trap fields will be closed from 4:30 until dark for maintenance on the berms

Ground is too wet , to be rescheduled

The 2024 /25 season has concluded , we enjoyed many interesting and challenging target presentations , spent time with some fantastic shooters and good friends . I know we are already anticipating next December so we can do it again .

6 Unofficial CanAm Results Shoot #6 LCA

Monday April 28 we accomplished a large project at the club . Big thanks to George and johnny from GREENLINE  Earthworks .

They dug out the topsoil and installed recycled asphalt on the driveway and rifle range parking lot . Please drive gently in the coming days and that will allow the material to tighten up and go solid . If we give it some time it will be almost as good as pavement .

No more sand stuck to all your range supplies no more mud !!!!

They also placed the new sea can storage unit and demoed the old building .

The kids fishing derby was April 26 , it was a cool windy day but there was over 100 kids signed in and over 80 fish were caught . The biggest fish was a slabby 19.5 inch rainbow trout !! Thanks to Bud and his helpers and thank you to all the sponsors .

There will be an outside contractor doing work near the pistol and rifle ranges all day , we don’t want outside vehicles in the way and we don’t want to have shot falling on workers . When this job is done I think you will agree it was worth giving up one day of shooting for the massive improvements we will be seeing .
